Peeta had heard that Nina was in 12. He missed her so much and really wanted to see her. He got her a surprise, and called her up, hoping she wouldn’t ignore him again. Thankfully, she said okay and was going to meet up at his place. His pulse jumped when he heard her knock on the door. “Hello love” he smiled when he saw it was her in the door way.
Nina smiled, the look on his face giving her butterflies in her stomach, she hadn’t been entirely sure what to expect from him, it always seemed different.
“Hi, honey.” She said softly, moving herself into his arms, hugging him softly, “It’s so good to see you.” She kept her voice calm and slow, trying to hide her nervousness, wanting nothing more than to hold onto that hug forever.
He was surprised when she hugged him, but her hugged her back. “it’s good to see you too” he let go, and grabbed her hand to walk her inside. “How have you been?” He wanted to ask her a million questions on why she’s been avoiding him, but thought to wait.

*smiles* nothing really, just finished decorating the cakes. what are you doing?
Just got finished baking the bread. Now I’m done for the day. -giggles- But im kinda bored now..
Oh really? Well, wanna go do something?

Oh, i don’t know, maybe Ice cream, then go to the park?

Nina hadn’t seen Peeta in a while, ever since Derek’s death she avoided him because she knew how she could be, at any moment happily biting his head off. At this point she thought he was annoyed with her, so she was surprised to hear her phone right when it did. She walked from the bakery where she’d seen May to his house, gently knocking on the door, biting the inside of her cheek nervously.
